A man was shot and killed early Monday after an incident in the 500 block of Agnes Street.
Winnipeg police rushed to the scene at around 5:50 a.m. to find the victim suffering from a gunshot wound. Officers began administering first aid before paramedics arrived. The man was taken to hospital in critical condition and later died.
No arrests have been made.
Police say because the shooting was close to John M. King School, access to the building is being controlled throughout the day.
