A 21-year-old man from Winkler was killed Monday afternoon after his vehicle turned into the path of an oncoming minivan.
RCMP say the crash happened at around 4:45 p.m. when the man was leaving a rural driveway turning onto Highway 30. He was struck on the driver’s side by a northbound minivan driven by a 35-year-old woman.
The man was pronounced deceased at the scene, while the driver of the minivan suffered minor injuries.
Police say drugs, alcohol and speeds aren’t considered factors in the crash.
The investigation is continuing.
