The upcoming week will bring several street closures throughout Winnipeg that motorists should plan for on their commutes.
Beginning Monday, July 1, the Arlington Bridge will be temporarily closed from Logan Avenue to Dufferin Avenue, from 11 p.m. until noon on Tuesday, July 2 to facilitate film production.
Motorists should use alternate routes such as the McPhillips Street Underpass or Slaw Rebchuck Bridge.
Road construction will close northbound and southbound Memorial Boulevard, from York Avenue to Broadway, from July 1 until Thursday, September 5.
Road construction and maintenance will also close eastbound Higgins Avenue, from Princess Street to King Street, starting at 9 a.m. on Tuesday, July 2 until August 16.
Pedestrian access will be maintained on the north sidewalk.
Motorists are advised to use an alternate route and to plan for additional travel time to reach their destinations.
