WINNIPEG — Charges have been upgraded against a teen in the death of a 17-year-old boy following a shooting on May 26.
Police say the victim, Dorian Glenn Sanderson, was taken to hospital in critical condition after a brawl in the 300 block of Alfred Avenue. He later died as a result of a gunshot wound.
On Thursday, police charged a 15-year-old boy with second-degree murder relating to the incident. He was re-arrested from May 26, when he was originally only charged with assault.
Another teen, also 15, was previously charged with second-degree murder on June 4.
Both boys remain in police custody.
