Nothing cools you down on a hot summer day like a chilled lemonade.
In partnership with CancerCare Manitoba, the Exchange District BIZ is hosting Lemonade Stands for Hope this Friday.
The BIZ will be set up at the corner of Waterfront Drive and Bannatyne Avenue accepting donations in exchange for a glass of lemonade from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Lemonade can be purchased for a minimum of 25 cents or any other sum in a donation to CancerCare.
Area businesses will keep up sales with their own take on lemonade all weekend long from July 19-21, including Clementine, King + Bannatyne, Bodegoes, Cordova Tapas & Wine, Joe and Lily, and Across the Board.
Any member of the public can also set up their own lemonade stand and collect donations for CancerCare by registering their stand online.
