Two Winnipeg police were sent to hospital with minor injuries Saturday morning after a collision in the south end of the city.
The marked police vehicle was travelling northbound on Pembina Highway at around 1:30 a.m. when it collided with a civilian vehicle travelling westbound on Dalhousie Drive.
Police say the intersection was being controlled with a flashing amber light for north/southbound traffic and flashing red for west/eastbound traffic.
The two officers were treated for non-life threatening injuries. The person driving the other vehicle declined medical attention.
