A 33-year-old Winnipeg man is facing more than a dozen charges after a string of commercial robberies in the city.
Police responded to a robbery at a convenience store in the 800 block of Ellice Avenue on Tuesday, where a man was armed with a knife and took off with some merchandise.
The suspect was soon found in the 600 block of Banning Street and arrested.
Officers determined the suspect was responsible for eight other robberies earlier this month, which included either a knife or a firearm.
Harvey James McKay faces several robbery and weapons charges. He remains in custody.
