Winnipeg police are looking to identify the driver believed to be responsible after a female pedestrian was hit while walking her dog earlier this month.
The woman in her 50s was walking in the area of Notre Dame Avenue and Arlington Street the evening of August 8 when she was hit shortly after 10:30 p.m. Police say the vehicle was then spotted travelling westbound on Norte Dame from Arlington.
The woman was taken to hospital in critical condition and later upgraded to stable.
The vehicle is described as a possibly grey or gold car. It’s said to have damage on the driver’s side door.
