Norway House RCMP are looking into the shooting of 13-year-old male youth.
On August 28, 2019, Norway House RCMP were called to Kistapinan Drive after a report the youth had been shot with a firearm. The suspects fled before police arrived.
The male victim was taken to hospital with serious but non-life threatening injuries and later flown to Winnipeg for further treatment.
The investigation identified five youths who were allegedly involved in the shooting. Three of the five youths were located and arrested.
A 15-year-old male has been charged with Aggravated Assault, Discharging a Firearm with Intent, Pointing a Firearm, and Possession of a Weapon for Dangerous Purpose.
Two females, a 13 and 14-year-old, were arrested and released without charges.
The 13-year-old male victim remains in hospital, and he’s in stable condition.
