Charges Laid in Man’s Death on Bloodvein First Nation

Manitoba RCMP have made an arrest after a man was fatally assaulted on Monday afternoon on Bloodvein First Nation.

The 35-year-old man was found deceased inside a home just before 1:30 p.m.

Police arrested Lucas Duck, 23, from Bloodvein First Nation, at the scene. He has been charged with second-degree murder and remains in custody. He is scheduled to appear in court on Wednesday.

RCMP are continuing to investigate.
