September 8, 2019 8:21 AM | News

Disability Matters VoteA rally is scheduled for Monday afternoon to raise awareness for disability issues in Manitoba and ensure those with disabilities can vote in Tuesday’s provincial election.

Disability Matters Vote is a non-partisan public awareness campaign that has been vocal throughout the election campaign.

Monday’s roadside rally will run from 4-5 p.m. in front of Inclusion Winnipeg at 120 Maryland Street.

Organizers are asking supporters to make a sign and make some noise in support of their campaign. The joint initiative is a partnership between Abilities Manitoba and Barrier-Free Manitoba.
