A rally is scheduled for Monday afternoon to raise awareness for disability issues in Manitoba and ensure those with disabilities can vote in Tuesday’s provincial election.
Disability Matters Vote is a non-partisan public awareness campaign that has been vocal throughout the election campaign.
Monday’s roadside rally will run from 4-5 p.m. in front of Inclusion Winnipeg at 120 Maryland Street.
Organizers are asking supporters to make a sign and make some noise in support of their campaign. The joint initiative is a partnership between Abilities Manitoba and Barrier-Free Manitoba.
