Make way for Michelle Obama! The former First Lady of the United States is sitting down for a conversation in Winnipeg.

Obama will speak at Bell MTS Place on Tuesday, September 24 just months after her presidential husband, Barack, charmed a local audience.

The Winnipeg Chamber of Commerce is hosting the event, officially called “A Conversation with Michelle Obama.”

In 2018, Michelle Obama published her memoir, Becoming, which sold more copies than any other book published in the United States in 2018, achieving that status in just 15 days and instantly rising to the #1 slot on the New York Times Best Sellers list.

Tickets go on sale Tuesday, September 10 at 10 a.m. through Ticketmaster. Buy tickets first using the presale password MO2019 at Ticketmaster.ca from 10 a.m. today until Tuesday, September 10 at 9 a.m. You might also need to book the afternoon off from work, as Obama will speak at 12 p.m.
