WINNIPEG — A woman was Tasered in the leg during a carjacking early Tuesday in the St. Vital area.
Police say the woman was walking to her car at around 12:45 a.m. in the area of Meadowood Drive and St. Mary’s Road when the suspect approached her. She was pulled from the driver’s seat and Tasered before her cell phone and vehicle were stolen. She wasn’t injured in the ordeal.
The stolen vehicle is a 2018 white Chevrolet Cruz with Manitoba plate KEW 233.
The suspect is described as a Caucasian man, 5’11” – 6’0″ in height, medium build and between 21-22 years of age.
