A 15-year-old boy is facing charges after Manitoba RCMP say he brought a pellet gun to school and threatened another student.
Police were called to Steinbach Regional Secondary School Wednesday afternoon, which was on lockdown as a result of the incident. Officers searched and building and cleared it once they knew the suspect had left the area.
The teen was found outside a home on McKenzie Avenue in Steinbach at around 4:30 p.m.
He was arrested and will be facing numerous charges, including uttering threats and assault.
The pellet gun hasn’t yet been located and RCMP continues to investigate.
