A child has died after being attacked by several dogs near Gods Lake in northern Manitoba.
RCMP say the two-year-old boy was located a short distance from his home on Monday afternoon. He was found in a wooded area with serious life-threatening injuries and pronounced deceased.
Police say it’s believed the child wandered from his home when he was attacked.
Community members shot several dogs that were seen returning to the area near where the boy was found.
