Paving work at the intersection of Waverley Street and Bishop Grandin Boulevard this weekend will close a portion of Waverley. (GOOGLE STREET VIEW)
The northbound and southbound sections of Waverley Street will be closed this weekend between Lake Crest Road and Scurfield Boulevard.
The city says the closure is for paving operations at the Waverley and Bishop Grandin Boulevard intersection.
The closure will be in effect starting at 7 a.m. on Saturday, September 28 until 10 p.m. Sunday, September 29.
Right hand turning yields on northbound and southbound Waverley Street will remain open during the closure. Access to auto dealerships in the area will be maintained.
Motorists should expect delays, and should use alternative routes such as Kenaston Boulevard, Pembina Highway, and McGillvray Boulevard.
