Man Drives Himself to Police Station After Being Shot at Winnipeg ATM

Winnipeg Police Logo CrestA man who was shot while at a Winnipeg ATM drove himself to the nearest police station while calling 911.

Police say the victim called at around 2:15 a.m. Monday and said he was en route to the North District station on Hartford Avenue.

Officers met with the man, who had been shot in the upper body, and had him transported to hospital. He was listed in stable condition.

Police say the man was at an ATM near Henderson Highway and Springfield Road when he was confronted by a masked person and shot.
