A Winnipeg man has been arrested and charged after he allegedly tried to exploit minors online.
Police were notified by an online gaming company on June 7 that a Winnipeg suspect was requesting nude images from minors and offering nude images to minors.
Police began an undercover online investigation and posed as a 13-year-old child on social media. They say the officer stated numerous times that they were 13, but the suspect still allegedly asked if the child would perform sex acts should they eventually meet.
Kyle William Marcinkowski, 22, has been charged with multiple counts of luring, three counts of transmitting sexually explicit material to a child and possession of child pornography.
He remains in custody.
Police say there may be unidentified victims related to this case. Anyone who is aware of a potential victim or has additional information is asked to contact police at (204) 986-6172.
