Thompson RCMP are investigating a homicide after the body of a female was found in the northern Manitoba community on Thursday evening.
RCMP responded to a report that a body had been located near Nelson Road at around 5:10 p.m. Officers found the person deceased and are treated the death as a homicide.
No further details were provided.
An autopsy is scheduled.
