Charges Laid in Norway House Manslaughter

RCMP in Norway House have laid charges after a 27-year-old man was found unresponsive in a wooded area of the community.

Police located the victim the morning of October 26 and had him transported to hospital, where he was pronounced deceased.

Cory Scribe, 31, was arrested and charged with manslaughter on Monday. The Norway House man remains in custody and will appear in Thompson court.

RCMP continue to investigate.
