Clocks will “fall back” early Sunday morning as daylight saving time comes to an end.

At 2 a.m. local time November 3, clocks will change to 1 a.m., except in Saskatchewan, which remains on central standard time year-round.

Officials say it’s also an opportune time to replace the batteries in your smoke alarm and carbon monoxide detectors.

The City of Winnipeg is also reminding organizations to check their Automatic External Defibrillators (AEDs), as AED batteries and contact pads have a shelf life.
