WINNIPEG — One person was taken to hospital in critical condition Tuesday night after a fire broke out in a bungalow in the 800 block of Sherburn Street.
Emergency crews arrived at around 9:17 p.m. and learned a person was trapped inside. Firefighters launched an offensive attack and began searching the residence for the victim.
No other injuries were reported and the fire was deemed out shortly before 10 p.m.
The cause is under investigation and no damage estimates are available.
