The Canadian Pacific Holiday Train is ready to roll for another season across Canada and the U.S.
The train departs Montreal on November 25 and will cross the country until December 18, collecting much-needed donations for local food banks and providing free entertainment along the way.
The train will stop in Winnipeg on Monday, December 2 with musical performances by Scott Helman and Madeline Merlo. The train stops at the grade railway crossing on Panet Road and Molson Street at 9 p.m. The event will run until 9:45 p.m.
Portage la Prairie, Neepawa, Minnedosa and Shoal Lake are next on the list and will see the train in their communities on December 3. A complete schedule of the CP Holiday Train’s stops can be found at CPR.ca.
