Vickie Kaminski (WRHA)
The Winnipeg Regional Health Authority has named Vickie Kaminski as the organization’s new president and CEO.
Kaminski holds a degree in nursing and has more than 40 years’ experience in health care. She has served in executive management roles with public health-care systems in Australia, Ontario, Alberta and Newfoundland and Labrador, including tenure as president and CEO of Alberta Health Services from 2014 to 2016.
“I’m excited for the opportunity to join the WRHA. Since the summer I’ve had the privilege of working on the health-system transformation, and I’ve been very impressed with the caliber of the people here and their relentless commitment to delivering the highest quality of patient care,” Kaminski said.
Kaminski will be replacing outgoing president and CEO Real Cloutier, who announced his retirement in October 2019.
She will assume her new role effective January 6, 2020.
