The Independent Investigation Unit is looking into a shooting involving an off-duty Manitoba RCMP officer.
The IIU says the officer was hunting on September 7 when the firearm he was carrying discharged, seriously injuring the officer.
The IIU was notified of the incident on November 29. They’re asking anyone with information or video footage that may assist in their investigation to contact them at 1-844-667-6060.
No further details were released.
