Six women have come forward alleging they were touched in a sexual manner by a Brandon massage therapist.

The 54-year-old man was the subject of two previous complaints, one in the fall of 2018 and another on October 30, 2019. In both cases, the victims reported that he made inappropriate sexual comments while touching them in a sexual manner.

Six additional women have now reported similar incidents occurred between February and August 2019. Brandon police say the victims came forward with their reports independently of one another.

The man was arrested on Tuesday and will appear in court on January 20, 2020 on all eight sexual assault counts.

Police say the massage therapist was working as an independent contractor at a business when the alleged assaults occurred. He has taken a leave of absence and is no longer working out of the business.
