Assiniboine Park Zoo Closing for Annual Maintenance

WINNIPEG — Assiniboine Park Zoo will be closed next week for annual maintenance.

From January 6-12, scheduled work includes minor repairs, painting, and deep cleaning in buildings throughout the zoo. Visitor services, retail, and food and beverage operations within the zoo will also be closed during this time.

Following the maintenance closure, the zoo will re-open at 9 a.m. on Monday, January 13.

The zoo is currently hosting the Zoo Lights Festival, which runs until Sunday, January 5.
