A woman who was hit by an alleged impaired driver on Peguis First Nation last week has died in hospital.
Manitoba RCMP say the 27-year-old woman was walking on the side of East Road January 7 when she was struck by a northbound vehicle at around 11 p.m.
She was transported to hospital with life-threatening injuries.
The 30-year-old woman driving the vehicle was arrested and will be charged with impaired driving causing death.
