Winnipeg to Begin Snow-Plowing Residential Streets

WINNIPEG — The city will begin plowing residential streets on Tuesday evening after 8-12 cm of snow fell over the weekend.

A residential parking ban is in effect starting at 7 p.m. Tuesday. Residents can check to see which snow zone their street falls into by entering their address on the city’s website or by using the Know Your Zone app.

Plowing will begin in snow zones B, J, L, O, S, U, V, requiring vehicles to be moved off such streets until 7 a.m. on Wednesday, January 22.

Wednesday, January 22, 2020 from 7 p.m. to 7 a.m. Thursday, January 23, 2020: C, F, H, K, M, N, Q, T

Thursday, January 23, 2020 from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. Thursday, January 23, 2020: D

Thursday, January 23, 2020 from 7 p.m. to 7 a.m. Friday, January 24, 2020: E

Vehicles parked in violation of the residential parking ban may receive a $150 ticket ($112.50 if paid early), and may be towed to a nearby street.
