Winnipeg Police Charge Suspect in South Pointe Homicide

Winnipeg police have made an arrest in a fatal shooting in South Pointe late last year.

Rig Debak Moulebou, 20, was shot on November 4, 2019 in a townhouse in the first 100 block of Tim Sale Drive at around 11:45 p.m.

Police found Moulebou suffering from multiple gunshot wounds and he was pronounced deceased.

Officers working the investigation identified a suspect on January 22, 2020 and arrested Arnold Mbaka Nduta, 23, of Winnipeg.

Nduta has been charged with first-degree murder and remains in custody.

The death marked the city’s 40th homicide of the year.
