RCMP Track Suspects After Stolen Vehicle Gets Stuck in Snow

Manitoba RCMP and police dogs tracked three suspects Sunday after the stolen vehicle they were in became stuck in the snow.

Headingley RCMP received the report at around 2 a.m. that an unknown vehicle was stuck near a driveway on Road 54 N. Three suspicious people associated with the vehicle were also reported in the area.

Officers from Headingley, Stonewall, Teulon and Portage la Prairie all responded to the scene.

Police determined the vehicle was stolen from the Carberry area and began tracking the suspects. A man and a woman were found at around 3:30 a.m. on Road 18 W and taken into custody. At around 4:05 a.m., another man was found hiding in a barn just off Road 18 West.

Amy Constant, 25, of The Pas, Michael Dahlin, 27, of Winnipeg, and Nicholas Allard, 27, of Winnipeg, were all arrested and face numerous charges.

RCMP continue to investigate.
