A man from The Pas, Manitoba has spun his way to a $250,000 cash prize after appearing at a Big Spin event on Tuesday.
Daniel Cudmore received a $5 Big Spin Zing lottery ticket as a stocking stuffer from his wife in December. He scratched a “Big Spin” prize of $10,000, plus the chance to spin a real prize wheel at his own spin event to win even more cash.
“I was shocked,” Cudmore said. “It didn’t really sink in until later.”
Cudmore claimed his prize in earlier in January and received the initial $10,000, plus won the chance to spin a real wheel with a guaranteed $100,000 and the chance to spin for up to $500,000.
Cudmore plans on using his winnings to take a trip to Las Vegas and upgrade to a bigger home.
The winning ticket was purchased at Snakland, located at 1 St. Godard Street in The Pas.
Cudmore is the fourth top prize winner in Manitoba on the Big Spin since the game launched in March 2019.across the Prairies and the North.
