Man, 52, Hit and Killed by Vehicle on Peguis First Nation

RCMP are looking for a vehicle that fled the scene after a 52-year-old man was hit while walking on Peguis First Nation Saturday evening.

The collision occurred on West Road, approximately two kilometres north of Highway 17, at around 6:05 p.m.

The victim, a man from Peguis, was located on the roadway and pronounced deceased at the scene.

RCMP are asking anyone with information on the northbound vehicle to contact Fisher Branch RCMP at (204) 372-8484 or call Crime Stoppers anonymously at 1-800-222-8477.
