Winnipeg radio personality Mark Morris is returning to the airwaves with a new morning show on Hot 100.5.
“Mark and Dilly in the Morning” will also feature co-host Sean “Dilly” Dilworth.
The two recently worked together at 99.9 BOB FM (Bell Media) alongside Beau. Morris was a casualty of a round of nationwide Bell layoffs in November 2019, which also saw the dismissal of longtime CTV Winnipeg news anchor Gord Leclerc.
“I have had the pleasure of working with Mark Morris in the past, and he has immeasurable talent as a broadcaster and emcee. We are really excited for him to join our team,” said Adam West, program director at Hot 100.5 (Evanov Radio Group).
Morris is also one of the current hosts of “Kinsmen Jackpot Bingo” on CTV Winnipeg.
Dilly arrives with more than 20 years of industry experience and is also known to Winnipeg radio listeners, having spent time behind the mic locally at Corus Entertainment.
To make way for the new morning show, existing Hot 100.5 morning personality AJ Leite has been moved to sister station Energy 106 to handle middays. The station parted ways with Leite’s co-host, Pamela Roz.
Mark Morris will debut the new show on Monday, February 10. Dilly will join him beginning Tuesday, February 18.
