Swan River Man in Hospital After Shooting

Swan River RCMP are investigating a shooting in the community early Thursday.

Officers were called for a disturbance on 9th Avenue South at around 1:55 a.m., where they located a 25-year-old Swan River man had been shot in the lower body.

He was taken to hospital with non-life threatening injuries.

Police located and seized a firearm in the area a short time later.
