The Winnipeg Blue Bombers have re-signed receiver Darvin Adams to a three-year contract.

The veteran receiver was to become a free agent on February 11, but is now secured through the 2022 CFL season.

Adams, 30, will begin his sixth season with the Blue and Gold to start the 2020 season.

Adams played 13 games in 2019 due to injury, but finished the year with 47 catches for 549 yards and five touchdowns, ending a streak of back-to-back 1,000-yard seasons in 2017 and 2018.

The Georgia native is a two-time West Division All-Star (2017, 2018) and was a CFL Players Association All-Star in 2017.
