The Royal Canadian Mounted Police is asking for help naming its next generation of police dogs.

The Mounties are looking for names for 13 German Shepherd puppies born at the Police Dog Service Training Centre in Innisfail, Alberta.

All names must start with the letter “N,” must be one or two syllables and no more than nine letters.

Contestants must be four to 14-years-old and live in Canada to be eligible to submit a name.

The 13 children whose names are selected will each receive a laminated 8×10-inch photo of the pup they named, a plush dog named Justice and an RCMP water bottle.

Entries will be accepted until Wednesday, March 25, 2020. The winners will be announced on Wednesday, April 29 on the RCMP website and social media.
