WINNIPEG — A man who was reported to be lying in the roadway on Wednesday morning was a victim of an assault.
Police say the man was found injured at around 8:45 a.m. in the 600 block of Sherbrook Avenue.
He was transported to hospital in critical condition and later upgraded to stable.
Police say the man was assaulted and the major crimes unit is investigating.
