Headingley Correctional Centre (CKPENG.COM)
An inmate at Headingley Correctional Centre was seriously injured Sunday evening in an incident with a corrections officer.
RCMP say the 45-year-old man was transported to hospital with life-threatening injuries after becoming unresponsive.
It’s unclear what led to the incident and no further information was released.
RCMP are continuing to investigate.
