Manitoba RCMP and other police agencies are investigating after the discovery of human remains near Oakbank.
The remains were located Monday near a rail line approximately one kilometre east of Oakbank.
Springfield police, CN police and other RCMP departments spent the afternoon and evening conducting an exhaustive search of the area.
The identity of the remains is unknown at this time and police continue to investigate.
