Portions of Colony, Century Streets Closing This Weekend

WINNIPEG — Sections of two major city streets will temporarily close this weekend.

Northbound Colony Street, from Portage Avenue to Webb Place, will be closed at 6 p.m. tonight until Sunday, August 8 at 5 p.m. for building construction. Pedestrian access will be restricted along the east sidewalk on this stretch of Colony Street during the closure.

The off-ramp from southbound Century Street / Route 90 to southbound Queen Street will be closed for road construction from Saturday, August 7 at 5 a.m. until Sunday, August 8 at 11 p.m. Traffic wanting to access Portage Avenue from southbound Route 90 can turn at Ness Avenue prior to the off-ramp and connect via Berry Street.
