A Winnipeg couple has spun to win $300,000.
Gary and Noreen Brock won “The Big Spin” after Gary initially purchased a ticket for Noreen’s birthday in July. After winning $10,000, they were given a date to spin the big wheel last Wednesday.
“This was such a wonderful birthday surprise,” said Noreen as the couple was presented with a cheque for their windfall. “It’s going to be a tough one to top!”
Gary said they weren’t familiar with the rules when they first won.
“So I took the tickets back to the store right away to see what we won.”
The winning ticket was purchased at 7-Eleven located at 1485 Inkster Boulevard in Winnipeg.
The Brocks plan to use their winnings for home renovations and sharing with their family.
