WINNIPEG — The Royal Canadian Air Force’s 435 Squadron will be conducting training over Beaudry Provincial Park today.

The training will involve search and rescue technicians parachuting into the park from a CC-130H Hercules aircraft and a simulated emergency scenario on the ground. The public is asked to maintain their distance from the training for safety purposes.

435 Squadron operates from 17 Wing Winnipeg and carries out tasks such as airlift of freight and passengers, air-to-air refuelling of fighter aircraft in Canada and around the world, and search and rescue operations.
