Man Critically Injured in Winnipeg Nightclub Shooting

Winnipeg Police Logo CrestWinnipeg police say one man remains in critical condition following a shooting at a nightclub over the weekend.

Officers responded to reports of shots fired in the 500 block of Portage Avenue at around 4 a.m. on Saturday.

Another police unit, which was tending to an unrelated matter at the Health Sciences Centre, was informed two people arrived via private transport that had been injured in the lounge shooting.

A 27-year-old woman was treated for injuries sustained from flying glass, while a man in his early 30s suffered multiple gunshot wounds and was admitted in critical condition.
