A 37-year-old man from Peguis First Nation was pronounced deceased Monday evening after a vehicle collision in the community.

Manitoba RCMP responded at around 8:40 p.m. to Provincial Road 224, where the victim was located on the roadway.

Police say a vehicle was travelling northbound on PR 224 when it struck the man, who was standing in the middle of the road. The 78-year-old male driver and his 20-year-old male passenger, both from Peguis, were not physically injured.
