WINNIPEG — An annual lottery in support of the Health Sciences Centre Foundation is back with six grand prizes.

The 2021 HSC Millionaire Lottery launched on Thursday, boasting more than 2,000 prizes, including $1.2 million in tax-free cash.

“Each lottery ticket purchase has the power to change multiple lives—the ticket buyer’s and people in need at HSC,” said HSC Foundation president and CEO Jonathon Lyon. “Your support is an investment in a stronger health care system for Manitobans.”

The lottery includes six grand prize options, including homes in Sage Creek, Oak Bluff, Bridgwater, Osoyoos (South Okanagan) and two B.C. ocean cottages.

An early bird extra draw will award $1,000 cash to 25 winners, with other early bird prizes worth $220,000.

The fall bonus draw is worth $38,000 and the super bonus draw comes with prizes valued at $53,000.

As always, the ever-growing 50/50 plus can grow up to $2.2 million, with the winner taking half.

Tickets are on sale now through HSCMillionaire.com or by calling (204) 253-5688 or 1-855-999-5688. Tickets can also be purchased in-person at London Drugs in St. Vital Centre, Red River Co-op Food Stores and Main Street Pharmacy, and at select Shoppers Drug Mart locations in Winnipeg, Selkirk, and Portage la Prairie.

Proceeds from the lottery help support advancements in vital medical research, purchase state-of-the-art equipment, and enhance HSC Winnipeg facilities.
