Winnipeg police are investigating a weekend homicide after a man was seriously injured in the 600 block of Broadway on Sunday.
Officers were called to an apartment block at around 5 a.m. and the victim was transported to hospital in unstable condition. He later succumbed to his injuries.
The deceased victim has been identified as Austin Mark Chief, 24, of Winnipeg.
