A new apartment complex in north Winnipeg is about to see its first residents move in.
Sachi Apartments will open the first phase of the mid-rise building in October.
The development is a partnership between A3 Partners Ltd, local architect Raymond S.C. Wan Architects and Bockstael Construction.
“We are very proud that Sachi is 100% locally funded, designed, built and operated,” said CEO Ashok Dilawri, in a release.
“This development is our way of giving back to the communities that we’ve served and operated in for almost 40 years. It is a credit to the design and construction teams that we’ve created such an excellent product with exceptional value at affordable rents.”
Sachi Apartments, located at 2610 McPhillips Street, will feature 124 open-concept rental units with contemporary decor and quality finishes.
“Sachi represents a significant long-term investment in our community,” said Chevy Luk, vice-president of A3 Partners Ltd.
“Sachi Phase 1 is part of our vision to help address the rising affordability challenge for rental housing in Winnipeg.”
