Winnipeg police seized $52,000 worth of fentanyl, a loaded shotgun and other items from a city hotel suite on Wednesday.
Police executed a search warrant on the room in the 200 block of Main Street, where they also found ammunition, $3,900 in cash and drug packaging materials.
Ryan Frederick Johnston, 33, of Winnipeg, has been charged with numerous offences. He remains in custody.
