Winnipeg police are investigating after a person was shot in the Corydon area on Wednesday night.
Police were called for a report of gunshots near Corydon Avenue and Arbuthnot Street at around 9:30 p.m.
An injured man was located in the 700 block of McMillan Avenue with serious injuries from being shot. The victim, in his 20s, was transported to hospital in critical condition and was later upgraded to stable condition.
A firearm was recovered in the area and police say the shooting doesn’t appear to be a random incident.
